This collective was formed as a bridge between two generations in the Chicago jazz community, featuring Mike Allemana (guitar), Caroline Davis (saxophone), Matt Ferguson (bass), and Jeremy Cunningham (drums). Late night sessions at the New Apartment Lounge with Von Freeman inspired conversations that eventually led to a unique combination of original compositions by Mike and Caroline. The music is an exploration of odd time signatures and bluesy melodies that encourage constant dialogue and defy expectations.
